Eryn
As the owner and director of BarrhavenYoga, this practice is my life. Originally drawn to the physical effects of the poses, a multitude of benefits on all levels (body, mind, and spirit) are what keep me on the mat today. My approach to teaching is one of precision, focus, and commitment. I encourage students to find their own personal edge, challenge it, and grow. Having watched students progress far beyond their expectations, my motto is to, "breathe, believe, achieve."
Terri
Terri
Terri specializes in therapeutic yoga and began her own yoga journey 13 years ago. With two young kids and a full-time management position, she needed a way to get grounded. Her first classes taught breathing and meditation. Students love the personal attention that Terri manages to provide even in a group setting.

Roisin
Roisin
Roisin began practicing yoga over 12 years ago and has studied a wide variety of styles including Hatha, Yin, Vinyasa, Iyengar and restorative yoga. Using yoga to control back pain from scoliosis, she brings an understanding of anatomy and alignment to her teaching. She also believes in the power of stillness as a way to balance our body, mind, and emotions. Roisin teaches gentle and prenatal yoga classes.
Annie
Annie
As an early childhood educator and mother of 3, Annie uses yoga to stay balanced. She is a classically trained ballet dancer and taught dance for the last ten years. Annie studied Children’s Yoga at Rama Lotus and recently completed her 200h teacher training with Derek and Angela Kendrick and David Swenson. She brings a light-heartedness and innocence to the mat that is contagious. It’s no wonder the kids love her!

Steph
Steph
Steph first turned to yoga for exercise and soon found that it also improved posture, flexibility, strength, balance, and body awareness. Unexpectedly, she became less reactive and felt more empowered in life situations. She trained in Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga. "I can identify with students who are not used to being mobile, but that doesn't mean class will be easy for those who are experienced! Whatever your level, I look forward to bringing you to your edge and seeing what yoga has to offer you." Her energetic approach invigorates students of all levels!
Jessica
Jessica
As a competitive ultimate frisbee player and physically active person by nature, yoga teaches Jessica how to stay present, be mindful of her body, and trust herself. For this reason, her practice is an anchor; through it she's realized that anything can be achieved if you just breathe. "Yoga has enhanced my life; I look forward to sharing it with my students by guiding them on their own journey." Jessica is joining us in January to teach Yin and Vinyasa Yoga.
